So I’m here in Columbus, at NYMC 2009, and I had the privilege to hang out with Braddigan last night. They’re an incredibly humble bunch of guys. Brad has gone form selling out Madison Square Garden three nights in a row, to playing at a trash dump in Guatemala. And I don’t mean a really dirty part of town, but an actual trash dump. Hundreds of families live there, and God’s given him an incredible heart for this community. I wonder what it is I’m holding onto–what it is I’m “doing for God” but really doing for me. What dumps–literal and figurative–does God want me to pour my gifts into? And am I willing to do it? Brad was, and I pray I have the same sort of strength.
