We’re continuing our new Top 3 series today with three great recommendations of apologetic resources to get in your students’ or leaders’ hands to help them build a strong foundation for their faith:
Don’t Check Your Brains At the Door, Josh McDowell
This is a classic book that just got an updated look last summer. Don’t Check Your Brains at the Door is a great resource to give your students to help them grow on their own. Josh has written over 80 books and resources on the subject of apologetics and is widely considered one of the leading communicators in this area.
Over 190 Hours of Brand New Training at SYMC 2013!
God Quest: Teen Apologetic Curriculum, Sean McDowell
Josh’s son Sean is a great resource, too! We just ordered this curriculum to potentially use in a classroom-type setting this Fall. It looks like the best option out of a ton of things we looked at this summer to use in the ministry. The lessons are on DVD, and each student gets a workbook, so it could get a little expensive, but looks super solid.
