General Ministry
Josh Griffin

I’m excited to give away a couple of copies of the new small group DVD curriculum that Katie Brazelton and I just finished called The Way I’m Wired.

Here’s a little bit about the project:

Every teenager’s life is loaded with undeniable evidence of God’s incredible plans for them, but who helps them unpack all those details to discover why they were born? This curriculum prepares you for the privilege of doing just that. It equips you to teach stu dents that God has three distinct calls on their life: the primary call of being transformed into Christ-likeness; the secondary call of thriving in their seasonal roles; and the “This I Must Do” call to be part o f something that is larger than themselves.

The Way I’m Wired is a 6-week, biblically based DVD curriculum, which is written for a variety of youth settings: small groups, Sunday schools, retreats, camps, homeschooling, and personal coaching/mentoring sessions.

Invite teenagers into an epic adventure with Jesus. Check out Pierced: The New Testament today!

To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post:

  • The very FIRST COMMENT wins a free copy
  • I’ll select TWO MORE at random next Monday from all of the rest of the comments

  • Ray Selden says:

Randomly select, hmmmm … so I’ll just leave a note that is totally random, too. A couple of weeks ago, while teaching through “Church as it Should Be” I read the transcript for week 3. The weekend that Doug Fields taught it (for the transcription) was the weekend that Mike Yaconelli died. It moved me to tears as I read about his struggle to stay and teach that weekend before going to the funeral/memorial service the next day. I, too, remember when Mike died … I had just attend the NYWC and spoke with Mike at length about “ruining” my convention because of the Messy Spirituality/Prayer pre-conference workshop that I had attended. Good times … sad times … looking forward to even more good times as I hang out with Mike, Doug, and others in paradise (living on just the edge of getting thrown out from there … ). Thanks for all that you all do …

  • Ken Mcintyre says:

I’m from Canada. We don’t get cool stuff like this. We serve 300 non-churched community students weekly who sure could use something like this…

Hi Josh! I have been looking into your curriculum and I am very excited about it. I recently moved from Glendale, CA to Johannesburg, South Africa where I am the pastor and counselor for 46 youth and children at a community development project. Your curriculum is perfect for our youth. I am unable to get the DVDs here…only the books. I was wondering if there was an online download option that I could get through Saddleback somehow. Please let me know…I really think our youth would benefit from this. Most of our kids are orphaned or vulnerable children due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We have a lot to work through together! Thank you for your consideration.
