  • Joseph says:

“Congraduations!! Wait, what…? You’re not graduating? You’ll be with us another year?! … Don’t you think it’s time you, I don’t know, spread your wings or something? Could I persuade you to leave with this free graduation bundle, perhaps?”

  • Brent Lacy says:

I would love one of the packs!!!
Thanks and have an awesome day!

  • Matthew says:

“Worth playing for?” makes me feel like I’m a contestant on Survivor playing for a reward of epic proportions!

  • Chris says:

  • Jimmy says:

I don’t know if I can handle a package showing up for me at church, the secretary is bound to tell the lead pastor’s wife who will just happen to mention to her husband that a mysterious brown box arrived today for the youth guy, why are his POs being approved and my women’s ministry ones not?! The following day I will be asked to come into his office and explain why I felt like a purchase in such straining times was necessary? My commitment to the team and vision will once again be called into question all because I won something….ahhh, who am I kidding, something are worth the risk…Pick Me, Pick Me :o)!!

  • Jason says:

Free??? Really??? Just for a comment??? Okay….

Oops…I guess that was more like a middle schooler than a senior….

  • amykay says:

i don’t like to deal with the emotions of kids graduating (especially this class!) so instead I pretend they are restarting in 7th grade. I’m sure my little sevvies would enjoy these!

  • Chris says:

As the parents cry, the students knock each other’s mortar boards off, the sound guy misses the feedback, the projector person starts the video in the wrong spot, and the Pastor mispronounces their name… at least, I could know they are getting a good gift!

  • Tim Blake says:

  • Todd says:

This would be an awesome gift to some of our graduating seniors.

  • Jason says:

Thanks for your generosity, Josh! Love from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

  • Joel Milligan says:

I would love FREE gifts for our seniors! And it is no coincidence that we have exactly 5 seniors! Perfect! Wait…what? Oh…we have 8 seniors. That’s ok, I’m sure the HOST of the SYM Podcast can hook us up with three more gift sets;)

  • David says:

Is there a sweeter word in youth ministry than “free?” I don’t think so…although “pay raise” might be close.

  • jesse says:

too tired to be creative on a blog comment this morning. but i least i can still win randomly.

  • Spence says:

Interested to see what’s in these bundles

  • Lee says:

ooops! I’m sorry I didn’t know your great grandson was a member of our church, he’s never attended youth before, don’t worry about it, I would be more than happy to get him a graduation gift!

  • Aaron says:

Dude, you indeed are a book guy. I’m always looking for something more creative for our seniors, but usually end up saying, “what the heck, here’s a book”

  • Leslie says:

Wish I had seen this before I spent my own money on gifts for our 5 graduating seniors. My church never buys gifts for the kids….don’t know why that is. I’m just a volunteer with the youth group, our paid youth dude is going away for the summer and won’t even be around when they graduate….hmmmm…sounds like we don’t care about our kids :)) Well I love them to death and I’ll always be there for them!!
WooHoo graduation is right around the corner!!

  • Greg says:

My church is so small, that 5 sets will last me 5 or 6 years!!!

  • Skylar Cook says:

I have a baby face (I’ve tried growing a soul patch, but I still get charged student prices) and we always bring our graduates in front of the congregation to introduce themselves & for our church to congratulate them. I obviously go up with them and tell the congregation what’s about to happen, and then pass off the microphone. Like clockwork, after we do this I receive several congratulations for graduating. I’ve been doing this for 3 years now, so I think to congratulate myself by be keeping four of those sets seeing that I’ve graduated 4 times now (adding in the one time I really graduated) ; )

  • Bryon says:

Fear of Spiders is arachniphobia. Fear of closed, small spaces is claustrophobia, Fear of Chuck Norris is logical.

  • Tim Hart says:

If Jesus was a Jew and Jews don’t believe in Jesus, did Jesus believe in Himself?

  • MIke says:

Comments….hmmm, i usually have a lot of these but suffice it to say that graduation is such a sad time – well, maybe, kind of…depends on if we are talking about the helper or the cynic who is graduating!! but they are all worthy of a gift to say good-bye, so PLEASE pick me!!!

  • Bonni says:

Commenting! I’d love to have a chance at these grad bundles — and since I actually only have 4 graduating girls in my small group, there will be one to spare. I’ll hand it back to you personally if you’d like. 🙂

  • Jenn says:

    I’d like to win – but if I don’t – definately pick Jimmy @ 5:28am because (a) he’s creative at 5:28am and (b) we’ve all been there

  • Marcus says:

As we celebrated with our graduates last Sunday I found myself grieving throughout the week. They left me with a serious case of the “if onlys.” I found myself saying, “If only” we had more time with them, or “If only” we had done this or that… Some of it was healthy evaluation, but most of it was fighting discouragement. Jesus’ words from John 15 is what we left them with. We love them dearly.

  • Josh says:

Just in time? actually you are about 2 weeks late. I guess schools in MO are ahead of CA in everything but fashion trends. But hey, I will take the freebies for next years graduates!

  • Ryan Hakes says:

This doesn’t have anything to do with this post. But thank you for promoting your newest sponsor “life book” on the podcast. I had to stop mowing and listen to the entire pitch, just got off the conference call and will be saturating 7 High Schools with the Life Book next February. Thanks!

  • Chris says:

I also pray in a prostrate position! (OK, it’s odd, but it’s my best attempt at creativity.)

  • Joshua Riffle says:

    Love me some books!

  • shawn says:

Your eyes randomly fall upon this comment!

  • Rob says:

Ministry lesson number 1: If it’s free it’s for me!

  • Chris Folkestad says:

I’m not even creative enough to come up with a catchy comment, much less a good grad gift… help take the pressure of me!

  • AJ says:

I’d love to get one of those give-away bundles for our seniors. That should be enough to cover most of them. BTW, I’m an SYM podcast team member, and that’s how I found your blog.

  • Joe Usher says:

Your going off to college now. If you stop believing in Jesus I will come there and punch you in the face in love! (Pain discipleship)

  • Jeffrey says:

This is perfect for our small graduating class. Got 4 leaving. Bring it on Josh.

  • Adam Rollefson says:

  • Mike Coghill says:

“Here you go grad, I hope you enjoy this book I got you. I spent a lot of time picking out a book for you. But then magically this book was brought it to my door.” Thanks Josh!

  • Terrace Crawford says:

A bundle pack will ease the pain of knowing that Oprah quit, Scotty McCreery won American Idol, and that the world will end in October.

  • Scooter says:

    Hook it brotha!

  • Chuck Aden says:

Not to creative–but would love to bless 5 students with a freebie!!
