For nearly four decades Jeanne Mayo has thrown her heart and passion into youth ministry. Her ministry DNA is reflected in her life mission statement: "The motivation and mentorship of Kamikaze Christianity into practicing and potential Kingdom champions." Jeanne's long journey in youth ministry is characterized by her determination to grow small ministry seeds into maturity—she's followed that passion through ministries in Nebraska, Illinois, California, and now Atlanta, Georgia.

Jeanne is a national conference speaker and trainer. In her travels she enjoys re-connecting with the thousands of former youth group members she meets all over the world.

Recently Jeanne founded Youth Leader's Coach, a non-profit organization with a mission "To instruct, equip, inspire and encourage the youth pastors and youth leaders of this generation." She's a coach, mentor, and "Big Sis" to youth leaders across the country. Through this organization Jeanne creates resources for youth ministers.

She's a columnist for Group Magazine and Ministries Today. Her most recent books are Thriving Youth Groups (Group Publishing) and Uncensored (Creation House), a resource for teenagers on dating, friendship, and sex. Through Youth Leader’s Coach leads a bi-annual National Youth Leaders' Conference.

Jeanne is married to Pastor Sam Mayo, who’s been the senior pastor at most places she’s served. And she’s the proud mom of two adult sons, Josh and Justin.

Jeanne's favorite quote comes from missionary Jim Elliot: “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”
