How many of us would take our trash cans and empty them on the church altar on Sunday? None of us, right!! I mean if we were asked that question, we would laugh and maybe even get insulted that someone would even suggest the thought. Then why do we take our spiritual trashcans and our hollow words and empty those on God's alter every Sunday and Wednesday?In our lives, many of us worship through volunteering our time for free while others give generously and anonymously through many organizations. Some of us worship by doing random acts of kindness to others while others of us let our actions and examples lead the way in our worship. However you choose to worship God, there are 2 things that must happen, either through music on a Sunday/Wednesday Service or through the actions we perform in our daily lives. Let's look at what these are;
Yeah, too many times we give God what we "feel" like and recently He has been showing me that even in the darkest of my circumstances that He is there mightily, not wimpishly how we might percieve. In these tough circumstances He has shown me that I, with Him by my side, can break through to the windows of heaven, both for that moment and for my whole situation. When you can break through when it does't come easy then there is a new caliber of worship that comes forth that brings a new strength. So for anyone who is finding their faith more difficult I encourage you to press in. Seek God and He will come through for you for "God is not a man, that He should lie"(num.23:19). Believe God. Stand firm.

OffensiveThis article provides guidance on what true worship is. There are too many times that our worship services are a show piece for a few people to strutt their stuff !!. I myself must learn to control my ego so that the services I render is aimed at giving glory to God only. Thank you for a great article that reminds us what acceptable worship really is.

OffensiveI think we all have to empty our spiritual trashcans everyday. I learn more and more everyday that worship is a lifestyle.You either worship God with your life or you don't. I believe at all times God wants us to cast our cares upon him(Psalm 55:22) We do learn in scripture however that we are responsible. James 4:8, says draw near to God and he will draw near to you,cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded.Let's face it guys God has boundaries and sometimes his truth is going to hurt when we invade them.
