I know what youre thinking: Balcony time sounds great, but exactly how do I do it?What is astonishing to me is not that almost every youth worker I know has too much to do but that so many of them are surprised by it.

OffensiveFor all of you who are youth leaders, pastors, missionaries, or whatever your ministry calling; this scripture is gonna lift you up. I was worrying about some things and the LORD gave me this beautiful bite of HIS truth. II Corinthians 9:8 "But GOD is able to make ALL grace abound toward you, that ye, ALWAYS, having ALL sufficiency, in ALL things may abound to EVERY good work." Well, that pretty much covered everything I had on my "plate". Thank you JESUS!

OffensiveYea, it's not only applicable to the youth ministry, but to any ministry as well. Just like a quiet time is spent seeking God's will & guidance, a balcony time should be set to create and develop action plans in accordance with God's response. My experience taught me that the most common problem isn't that God doesn't reveal His will (in fact, God is more excited than I am to let me know about that!), but that I act too haphazardly after finding that out... God gave us faith to believe in His will, but He also gave us brains so we can use them to execute His plans. More annointing to you, guys!
