So I'm here in Columbus, at NYMC 2009, and I had the privilege to hang out with Braddigan last night. They're an incredibly humble bunch of guys. Brad has gone form selling out Madison Square Garden three nights in a row, to playing at a trash dump in Guatemala. And I don't mean a really dirty part of town, but an actual trash dump. Hundreds of families live there, and God's given him an incredible heart for this community. I wonder what it is I'm holding onto--what it is I'm "doing for God" but really doing for me. What dumps--literal and figurative--does God want me to pour my gifts into? And am I willing to do it? Brad was, and I pray I have the same sort of strength.
