How do you choose what to teach in your youth ministry?Still others are tied to the traditions of their church or denomination, and find security in teaching not what they feel is right, but rather what a larger body of believers throughout church history has said is best, teaching the next message or text in their church lectern.
Everything should always revolve around the gospel message. You cannot tell kids enough about who Christ is and who God is. If they have Christ in their lives they will listen to what you have to say on the topics and be empowered by the spirit to live pure and holy lives. If they don't have Christ in their heart they will never be able to follow your guidance. Everything must always be founded and rooted in the gospel message with Christ as the center. Also don't forget the words of the Bible have power in and of themselves. Don't ever downplay the bible just because you are afraid of offending a non-believer. May God bless your service as you stay in his word and passionately follow and teach about Christ.

OffensiveI've got the same question. We have a strong christian as well as a complete nonbeliever and everyone in between. What do you do?

OffensiveWhat do you suggest for a youth group that is a small group but mixed in where they are with God. For example, everyone can listen to topics on sex, dating, depression etc. But when there are more non-christians in the group than christians, it's hard to talk about things like being apart of the church etc. How would you approach this?
