Yesterday, Josh listed three of his favorite blogs…blogs he thinks are worth your time, too.  Now it’s my turn.  First, I need to say that he stole one of my top three (Seth Godin), which is what I get for letting him go first!  But I have plenty, so here are three of my favorites:

The Huffington Post(http://www.huffingtonpost.com/)

Okay, it’s not really a blog so much as it is a news site, but it does boast a stable of bloggers as contributors.  Truth be told, there’s much about The Huffington Post that isn’t my cup of tea…and that’s EXACTLY why I read it!  I think it is really important to read stuff you wouldn’t typically agree with…stuff that is a little outside your normal way of thinking.  If you are conservative, read stuff that is a little progressive from time to time. Are you more liberal?  You would be wise to read stuff that represents a more conservative viewpoint every now and then.

Dan Kimball (http://www.dankimball.com/)

I like reading stuff from folks who are “in-the-trenches”, and Dan Kimball is one such folk.  Dan is a forward-thinking Pastor in Santa Cruz, California who has knack for remaining orthodox in some unorthodox ways!  He typically doesn’t blog every day, so you may have to check back from time to time to see what’s new.

Doug Fields(http://www.dougfields.com)

I know, I know….chances are high that everybody reading this newsletter already reads Doug’s blog, and so do I!  In fact, his blog is the first one I read every day because it provides a wonderful blend of youth ministry, leadership and family-related musings.  There are very few sharper ministry minds out there, and since I no longer get to see Doug on a day-to-day basis, his blog allows me access to what’s going on in his brain!
